He was, among other things of course, a valued member of the basketball team.  He still holds many records there today. 

With the help of Mr. Don Robertson, Ty Tumlin, (one of Brad's best friends and fellow Walker alumni), has set up the Brad Koster Endowment Fund in his friend's honor to be in lasting memory of him. 

Together, Ty, Mr. Robertson, and others at Walker are working towards setting up a special scholarship award in Brad's name to be awarded to a student athlete, (probably on the boys' basketball team), who displays excellent leadership and character. 

Brad's jersey will also be retired this winter, at the beginning of basketball season, for which there will be a big presentation. The jersey will be framed and mounted in the gym. They are also working on other possible goals/projects, which you will be updated on here

The school's head master, Mr. Robertson and the staff at Walker are glad to be a part of this and are happy to help out.

Of course, the school and Ty will definitely need some help carrying out this project, whether it be contacting people, giving ideas or suggestions, or anything else to ensure the success of this project.

The Walker Basketball Game, scheduled for Dec. 8 will include a presentation celebrating Brad's career at Walker and retiring his jersey.

Proceeds from Alumni Attendance at Homecoming Game, Friday,Sept. 28 to go to Brad Koster Memorial Endowment Fund
