Subject: A Note From Brad

I wanted to share with you a personal note from Brad - this is a note he asked me to send to his friends. It is an inspiration to me and Randy.

For those that are not aware, I am writing all of you to tell you that I am in New York now and planning on having surgery tomorrow morning (Good Friday) for another biopsy, bone marrow check and to have tubes placed in my chest for chemotherapy treatment. Also, for those who do not know, I have been diagnosed with a form of cancer called Sarcoma. It is located on the right side of my abdomen and there are spots which have developed in my lungs.

I will begin chemotherapy Monday morning (the day after Easter) - here in New York for the first session, and hopefully the sessions will continue in Atlanta thereafter.

We are in New York because of the Sloan Kettering Medical Center which specializes in cancer treatment (especially sarcoma cancer).  I am in some pain but nothing that pain pills have not been able to alleviate. I am thankful that I am in good hands with God and the doctors. I appreciate all the e-mails - they really brighten my day and make me feel better.

I do not know why I have been struck with this disease and I never will, but I will fit it and turn to the Lord for help to let me live a long life. My suggestion to everyone is to appreciate life and live each day to the fullest because you never know when something like this may strike.

Please pray for me and think positive because I am 100 percent sure that with God's help I will be fine.

It seems like only a month ago I was doing what a normal 22 year old does-so you can see how quickly this has developed and how quickly it has changed my life.

I believe that I will be a better person after this life changing experience.
